Volleyball Recap: Hickman Takes a Loss

Hickman was the 3-1 winner over Blue Springs when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Kewpies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Saturday. The Kewpies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-17.

Hickman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Blue Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Hickman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Smith-Cotton on the 30th. As for Blue Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lee's Summit North on the 30th.
