Sandy Valley skates past Mountain View Christian with ease

The Sandy Valley Sidewinders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mountain View Christian 63-29 on the road. That 63-29 margin sets a new team best for Sandy Valley this season.
Damion Turner was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher LeClair, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
The victory (which was Sandy Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27 points. As for Mountain View Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Sandy Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Innovations International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Innovations International's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Mountain View Christian has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
