Softball Game Preview: Littlerock Lobos vs. Knight Hawks

The Littlerock Lobos will take on the Knight Hawks at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Littlerock will be strutting in after a win while Knight will be coming in after a loss.

Littlerock will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Palmdale on Thursday. The Lobos put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 13-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Knight challenged Lancaster on Thursday. The Hawks lost 16-3 to the Eagles.

Sophia Alvarez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Rodriguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Knight has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Littlerock, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
