Volleyball Recap: Hickory Wins Going Away Against Reynolds

Hickory barely beat Reynolds the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raiders on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Hickory won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 26-24.

Hickory now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Reynolds, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Hickory will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Cochranton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reynolds, they will host Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
