Football Recap: Salmon River Savages vs. Garden Valley Wolverines
After flying high against Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] two weeks ago, Salmon River came back down to earth. The Salmon River Savages were beaten by the Garden Valley Wolverines 56-26 on Friday. The Savages have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Salmon River now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Garden Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Salmon River will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 11th. As for Garden Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 46-0 win against Horseshoe Bend on the 4th.
