The East Hickman County Eagles will face off against the Harpeth Indians at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

The Eagles blew past the Fighting Irish 12-3 on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Jayden Malugin made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. East Hickman County is undefeated when Malugin posts two or more runs, but 2-11 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Braden Presley, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Landon Erickson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

East Hickman County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Houston County only posted an OBP of .241.
