Taconic and Pittsfield are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Thunder will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Taconic will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Taconic turned things around against Drury on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Devils.

Taconic was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Pittsfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Mount Greylock Regional.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Pittsfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Taconic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
