            Softball Preview: Eastmark Firebirds vs. Crismon Rattlers        
        
		
        
        
            The Eastmark Firebirds will head out on the road to  square off against  the Crismon Rattlers  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Eastmark is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game  this season.
Eastmark proved they can win big  on Saturday (they won by nine) and  on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Cactus Shadows  6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Firebirds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Makenzie Bozeman was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She also put up a  triple, which was her first of the season.  Ella Larned was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Crismon made easy work of Benson  on Saturday and carried off  an  8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rattlers, who have now won six games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jaylie Tuturow tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Alee Grace Trunell, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Rebecca Garcia, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run.
 Eastmark pushed their record up to 8-5 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Crismon, their record is now 7-3.
