On Friday, CrossPointe Christian Academy got the win against Trinity Christian School of Griffin by a conclusive 20-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Gaines Casey was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of CrossPointe Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3-1 when he doesn't). Harrison Wilkes was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
CrossPointe Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .650. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Harvester Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jaguar, sneaking past 5-3.
Lleyton Tsai and Greg Stoeckig were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Tsai tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Stoeckig didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. At bat, Tsai scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Stoeckig scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3. Tsai also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zade Dunlap, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Auston Young also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Harvester Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. CrossPointe Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. However, it's not like Harvester Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
