Soccer Recap: Mabank Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mabank had no problem doing just that on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Panther Creek. For Mabank, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory Panther Creek walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Mabank hit Panther Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addison Stephens (2), Kali Parker, and Brooklyn Bovis.

Mabank is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six games. Panther Creek is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Coming up, Mabank will take on North Dallas on Monday. North Dallas will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mabank surely won't give up without a fight. Panther Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
