Softball Recap: W.S. Neal Starts Season with Win Against Excel

W.S. Neal took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Excel Panthers by a score of 12-7. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 12-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dashya Montgomery was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Ava Stuckey was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Excel is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, W.S. Neal will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Central at 6:00 p.m. As for Excel, they will take on Washington County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
