Softball Recap: Sandy Creek Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

On Thursday Sandy Creek's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars. This was payback for the Comets, who suffered a 7-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sandy Creek's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.
