Softball Recap: Shoals Christian Comes Up Short

The Shoals Christian Flame lost 8-1 to the Tishomingo County Braves on Saturday. The Flame have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shoals Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalee Saylor, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Shoals Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tishomingo County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoals Christian will square off against Waterloo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Waterloo's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Shoals Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tishomingo County, they will take on Ripley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give Tishomingo County their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
