Basketball Recap: Atascocita Comes Up Short

Atascocita lost against North Shore back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Atascocita Eagles opened the new year with a less-than-successful 34-26 defeat to the North Shore Mustangs. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Atascocita has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for North Shore, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-6.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Atascocita Eagles duke it out with the Channelview Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Shore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against King at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
