Baseball Recap: Sacramento Comes Up Short

Sacramento was the 7-4 winner over Grant when they last played one another back in March of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Sacramento Dragons came up short against the Grant Pacers on Monday, falling 11-1. The match marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sacramento saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyrone Archie, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. The dominant performance gave Archie a new career-high in stolen bases.

This is the second loss in a row for Sacramento and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Grant, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacramento will face off against Foothill at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grant, they will take on Foresthill at 6:30 p.m. on March 5th.
