Basketball Recap: Birch Run Comes Up Short

Birch Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 43-20 to the Glenn Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 59-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Aiyana Willis was Birch Run's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Sophia Diberardino held things down on the boards with six rebounds. Sydney Fox took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Birch Run's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Coming up, Birch Run will face off against Vassar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they will host Hemlock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hemlock will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Glenn surely won't give up without a fight.
