Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Comes Up Short

Providence Classical saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Crestview Bulldogs. The Paladins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Kelsey Griffin, who had 13 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

Providence Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Crestview, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Providence Classical and Crestview will both be playing Decatur the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Eagles at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Paladins will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
