Baseball Game Preview: Adna Pirates vs. Toutle Lake Ducks

For the second straight game, Adna will face off against Toutle Lake. The Pirates will head out on the road to take on the Ducks at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Adna is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Adna made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Toutle Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pirates put the hurt on the Ducks with a sharp 7-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Cameron Nakano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ty Bodenhamer was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Mat Roundtree, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Adna pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
