Volleyball Recap: Wake Forest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wake Forest lost against Heritage back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wake Forest was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-16.

Wake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Wake Forest and Heritage should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Cougars will square off against Vance County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (207 vs. 599). Meanwhile, Heritage (ranked 141st) will meet East Wake (ranked 314th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
