Volleyball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Perry managed to slip by Casteel the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pumas came up short against the Colts on Wednesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pumas have suffered since September 3rd.

Sophia Gregg paced Perry's offense, picking up nine kills. Gregg got some help from Campbell Pierratt and her five assists. Gregg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Casteel can attribute much of their success to Isabel Penrose, who had 12 digs and three aces. Penrose is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Casteel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Basha on the 16th. As for Casteel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Chandler on the 16th.
