Basketball Recap: Campbell County Cougars vs. West Greene Buffaloes
Campbell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Greene Buffaloes. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffaloes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Looking ahead, Campbell County and Knoxville A will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for West Greene, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cherokee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes will need to watch out since the Chiefs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
