Softball Recap: Petersburg Buffaloes vs. Sudan Hornets
Petersburg fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Sudan on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 19-15 to the Hornets. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
KYNLEE OVALLE was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. E Orozco was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
