Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Central Valley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the University Titans and the Central Valley Bears didn't end well, with the University Titans falling 55-39. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Bears are ranked fifth).

University now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Central Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will host Gonzaga Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shadle Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Central Valley's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Shadle Park has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
