Soccer Game Preview: Mena vs. Magnolia

The Mena Bearcats will square off against the Magnolia Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mena's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Nashville. Mena might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Magnolia hasn't lost a match since March 14th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Bauxite 2-1.

Mena pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Magnolia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-2-3 record this season.
