Soccer Recap: Greater Lawrence Tech Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Greater Lawrence Tech was not quite Malden Catholic's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. Greater Lawrence Tech were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Malden Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Greater Lawrence Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Malden Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Greater Lawrence Tech will venture away from home to face off against Shawsheen Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Malden Catholic, they will head out to take on Xaverian Brothers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
