Softball Game Preview: Groveport-Madison Cruisers vs. Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators

The Groveport-Madison Cruisers will take on the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators in a tournament on Thursday.

Groveport-Madison fell victim to University and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-0. The Cruisers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier Christian Academy came tearing into Wednesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Braves by a score of 8-3.

Bayleigh Kahiler was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Moran, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Groveport-Madison's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.
