Katella had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Garden Grove Argonauts by a score of 4-2. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Argonauts are ranked 587th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Katella has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-6 record this season. As for Garden Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1.

Katella will head out on the road to square off against Laguna Hills at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Garden Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
