Baseball Recap: Colton Has No Trouble Against St. John-Endicott/Lacrosse

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Colton). They blew past St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 19-9 on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly ten runs.

Tanner Baerlocher was a standout: he scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brennan Schlee, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Colton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win got Colton back to even at 2-2. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Colton will be playing at home against Genesee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
