Volleyball Recap: Phillips Takes a Loss

The Phillips Wildcats came up short against the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies on Monday and fell 2-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Phillips ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

Phillips now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Phillips will face off against rival Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Horizon Science Academy-Southwest is set to square off against their familiar foe Air Force Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
