Volleyball Recap: Sterling Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sterling came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ell-Saline Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Sterling got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 30-28.

Sterling now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Ell-Saline, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sterling is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ell-Saline will take on rival Classical on Tuesday.
