Soccer Recap: Hot Springs Takes a Loss

Hot Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Dorado Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against El Dorado this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for El Dorado, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hot Springs will take on rival Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, El Dorado is set to square off against their familiar foe Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
