Volleyball Recap: Windsor Owls vs. Lift for Life Academy Hawks
Windsor won the last time they faced Lift for Life Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Owls walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Owls.
Windsor easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7.
Tessa Whitney paced Windsor's offense, picking up six kills. Whitney got some help from Lacey Myers and her 20 assists. Libby Cobb controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
Windsor's win bumped their record up to 20-4-2. As for Lift for Life Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Looking ahead, Windsor will head out on the road to challenge Lutheran South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lift for Life Academy has already played their next matchup (against Cardinal Ritter College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
