Soccer Recap: Timber Creek Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Timber Creek was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Fossil Ridge Panthers finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The Falcons had to tread lightly for part of the contest as three Timber Creek players were handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Their goal came courtesy of Alex Diaz, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Timber Creek's record moves to 1-3-1. Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge's record is now 2-1-1.

Timber Creek wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Bell on the 14th. Fossil Ridge has also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Walnut Grove on the 16th.
