Football Recap: Camas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Camas fell victim to West Linn and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Lions 41-0. The Papermakers lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in September of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-14 score last time.

Tyson Ruggiero threw for 26 yards on five of 15 attempts. On the ground, Thor Brody rushed for 53 yards.

Camas' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Linn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Camas will look to defend their home field on Friday against Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. The Papermakers will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for West Linn, they are taking a road trip to square off against Tigard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
