Korey Alston turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He was up against Burbank and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in March of 2024. Alston is becoming a predictor of MacArthur's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is undefeated (and 5-7 when he doesn't).
