Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tennyson Lancers. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Castro Valley and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1. As for Tennyson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castro Valley will head out to take on Mt. Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tennyson, they will head out on the road to face off against Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tennyson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
