Baseball Recap: Sto-Rox Takes a Loss

Sto-Rox extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 22 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-13 in the process. They came up short against the Quaker Valley Quakers, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Quakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.

As for Quaker Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

For Quaker Valley's part, Henry Zupanc was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Zupanc has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Finamore, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Sto-Rox nor Quaker Valley have any future games scheduled.
