Soccer Recap: Madison Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Madison lost to NCSSM: Morganton back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Patriots walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dragons. Marissa Massey had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Madison got from the refs.

Eden Sutherland and Addy Sutherland scored all three of Madison's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Madison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those eight contests. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they moved to 13-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Madison nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
