Christian Community is a perfect 3-0 against Zion Christian Academy since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Christian Community will take on Zion Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Christian Community has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Christian Community lost 19-5 to Westmoreland on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Zion Christian Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Franklin Christian Academy on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Falcons since on Monday.

J.T. Fox was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Surratt, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Christian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Zion Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Christian Community skirted past Zion Christian Academy 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christian Community since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
