Baseball Recap: Newington Takes a Loss

Newington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Windsor Bobcats. That's two games in a row now that the Nor'easters have lost by exactly three runs.

Newington's record is now 0-4. As for South Windsor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Newington will head out to square off against Plainville at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday. As for South Windsor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berlin at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
