After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tippecanoe, Beavercreek was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fairmont Firebirds by a score of 3-1. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Beavercreek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fairmont scored at least 23 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 23-25, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Fairmont still got an impressive performance from Noel Briones, who had 15 digs and five assists.

Beavercreek's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Fairmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Beavercreek is set to face off against their familiar foe Springboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fairmont will square off against rival Northmont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
