Volleyball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Takes a Loss

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer lost against Falls City back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-13.

Elie Bstandig paced Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's offense, picking up 19 kills. Bstandig got some help from PJ Howe and her 13 assists. Bstandig was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Gabi Young was a one-woman wrecking crew For Falls City. as she had 20 digs and one assist. Those 20 digs gave Young a new career-high.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Falls City, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Weeping Water on the 6th. As for Falls City, they will take on East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
