Baseball Recap: Big Spring Comes Up Short

Big Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Levelland Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

Big Spring's loss dropped their record down to 5-22-2. As for Levelland, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.

When Big Spring and Levelland next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Steers will try to stop Estacado's three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Levelland will square off against Frenship Memorial and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
