Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Arroyo

Arroyo had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mt. Eden Monarchs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Arroyo walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-20.

Arroyo's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Mt. Eden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arroyo will take on rival Tennyson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Eden is set to square off against their familiar foe San Lorenzo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
