Volleyball Recap: Springport Comes Up Short

Springport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union City Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Springport's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Union City, their victory bumped their record up to 14-15-1.

Springport has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Onsted on the 11th. As for Union City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Homer on the 11th.
