Recap: Suffield Wildcats vs. Windsor Locks Raiders
While it was all tied up 29-29 at halftime, the Suffield Wildcats were not quite the Windsor Locks Raiders's equal in the second half on Friday. Suffield fell 66-59 to Windsor Locks. Suffield was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Windsor Locks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Sincere Monroe was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six assists for Windsor Locks. The match was Monroe's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Hinckley, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Suffield and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Windsor Locks, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Suffield is on the road again on Thursday and play against Wamogo Regional at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. Windsor Locks will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against St. Paul Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
