Baseball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Wilkes-Barre's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pittston Patriots on Monday. The Wolfpack were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Wilkes-Barre saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Bottger, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wilkes-Barre's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Pittston, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.
