Basketball Recap: Josh Mosley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lakeside over Fellowship Christian

The Lakeside Vikings ended up a good deal behind the Fellowship Christian Paladins on Saturday and lost 63-47. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Mosley, who posted ten points. Mosley has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 53% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tommy Vento, who put up ten points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lakeside fell to 2-1. As for Fellowship Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside will welcome Stone Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fellowship Christian, they will be playing at home against Business Engineering Science Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Paladins' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
