After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Redwood Christian, Making Waves Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the California School for the Deaf Eagles by a score of 65-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-30 back in December of 2024.

Making Waves Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. As for California School for the Deaf, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Making Waves Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-44 victory against Oakland Military Institute on the 7th. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. California School for the Deaf will need to watch out since Redwood Christian has now posted at least 55 points in their last 14 contests.
