Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Mules vs. Marshall Barristers

Wilson hasn't had much luck against Marshall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mules will welcome the Barristers at 4:30 p.m. Wilson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Marshall likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Wilson didn't have quite enough to beat Eagle Rock and fell 58-55.

Meanwhile, Marshall didn't have too much trouble with Franklin on Wednesday as they won 55-41. The Barristers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Marshall now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Wilson, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 11-7.

Wilson took a serious blow against Marshall in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, falling 61-33. Can the Mules avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
